The Celebrity Mascot Games
started  in 1993 in Orlando as a fund-raising effort by professional mascots to assist children with life-threatening illnesses.  Since its humble beginnings, the CMG has brought smiles to thousands of Floridian fans each July.  
The Capital One Bowl National Mascot Championship is a brand new contest for NCAA  Division 1 mascots.
